Miss and Miss Teen Galaxy competitions in the UK are now entering their fourth year and are continuing to grow from strength to strength. The UK Galaxy Pageants are the fastest growing beauty contests in the UK and are now considered one of THE pageants to enter.

2011 will be a significant year for United Kingdom Galaxy Pageants, as for the first-time ever, six girls will travel to the USA to compete in Miss & Miss Teen Galaxy International. Previously, we have sent two winners, Miss & Miss Teen Galaxy-UK. However, in 2011 we will be sending representatives from England, Scotland and Wales.

The age-range for the UK Galaxy Pageants is the largest in the UK, as contestants can be aged 14-29. This makes it a pageant organiser’s dream, as there is a larger target market of potential contestants.

We are currently selecting regional organisers for the Miss & Miss Teen Galaxy competitions for England, Scotland & Wales. So, for example, an organiser for ‘Miss Manchester Galaxy’ would be able to hold a live competition and the winner of this would compete for the title of Miss Galaxy England.

In the UK, the Miss & Miss Teen Galaxy competitions are renowned for being fair and fun. We have many girls who re-compete and we believe this is testament to the organisation of our pageants. For us, organising a fair pageant is one of the most important issues, as the contestants work very hard for the final and we ultimately want the most suitable candidates to send to Galaxy International in the USA

We have enjoyed a great deal of international success in a short period of time. In 2009, Miss & Miss Teen Galaxy-UK (Hayley Mac & Emma McInnes), went on to win the Galaxy International crowns. In 2010, Miss Galaxy-UK – Beth Greenham, placed 4th runner-up in Miss Galaxy International. As a result of our success, we have enjoyed national and local press coverage, which has included The Sun, The Daily Record, Shout Magazine, Day Break, The Wales on Sunday and much more.
