About Miss Galaxy in the United Kingdom  The first Miss Galaxy contest in the United Kingdom was launched in 2008. Galaxy Pageants have grown at an incredibly rate - becoming the fastest growing beauty contests in the UK. The winners of the UK Galaxy Pageants travel to the USA to compete in the Galaxy International Pageant. For the first three years, two contests were held - Miss Galaxy-UK and Miss Teen Galaxy-UK. However, due to their massive popularity and success, UK Galaxy Pageants expanded and in 2011, six separate competitions were held for: Miss & Miss Teen Galaxy England, Miss & Miss Teen Galaxy Wales and Miss & Miss Teen Galaxy Scotland. In 2009, Hayley Mac won the title of Miss Galaxy-UK in March 2009. Hayley then travelled to the Saddlebrook Resort, Florida, to compete in the 2009 Galaxy International finals... and walked away with the crown! In an astonishing victory, Emma McInnes - Miss Teen Galaxy-UK 2009, also won the international contest making her Miss Teen Galaxy International. At Galaxy International, there are many awards to be won and Miss Galaxy-UK 2008 took the award for 'Miss Congeniality' at the finals in Florida 2008. In 2009, Hayley won all of the awards! This included: best in evening wear, fashionwear, interview, swimwear and photogenic! Miss Galaxy-UK 2010, Beth Greenham, looked amazing on stage and the judges agreed - she placed 4th runner up in Miss Galaxy International. For the first time in 2012, we will be holding a Mrs Galaxy UK competition. The winner of this will join the six other winners and travel to the USA for the Galaxy International Pageant. The contests are organised by Holly Ikin, who previously competed in beauty pageants before launching Miss & Miss Teen Galaxy in the United Kingdom.
