Our lovely Miss Teen Galaxy England, Misha Grimes, was a special guest at Cheltenham’s annual Autism Charity Evening!

‘April has marked national Autism awareness month globally and in order to get involved and help out such a worthy cause I was delighted to attend Cheltenham’s annual Autism Charity evening in association with The Battledown Centre; a Specialist School funded by Gloucestershire’s County Council to provide childcare to those with Autism.

It was a fabulous evening of fundraising, live performances from the steam rollers and the all important raffle! I met some truly incredible people along the way with such heart touching stories and not forgetting the all important special guest Klara Sudbury the deputy Mayor of Cheltenham (I shall add I think she had her heart set on winning my crown but sadly it wasn’t one of the raffle prizes on offer.) It was such a great opportunity for a community to unite and make a change.

In total, the night raised just short of a £1000; which is such an outstanding amount and will change the lives of so many! Make sure to check out the Battledown Centre at http://www.battledown.org.uk

Fantastic work, Misha!!
