Emma, Miss Teen Galaxy-UK and International, takes a moment to reflect on her year and wishes everyone a Merry Christmas!

To The Galaxy Team, Hayley and the 2010 contestants.

Where to start......WOW! 2009 has gone SO fast. I still remember getting the UK crown put on my head and my life changing forever! I was in the top 5 with 4 of my best friends that I made at the pageant. Being in the final two with Charlotte who is one of the nicest girls in know was amazing but hard! I knew one of us had to take the crown, I remember telling her "I'll give you half the crown if I win!!" We both burst into tears whilst we waited on hearing first runner up...when Charlotte was called I fell to the ground, Mum ran on stage and my life really did change FOREVER! I never knew it would change this much though!
I didn't imagine how much press and attention I would get but I knew I would use the attention for the better.

As many of you know I was bullied for three years at school for having tanned skin.....I went through years of heartbreak. I wanted to use my UK title to raise awareness of bullying and help not only the victims but the bullies! I also work very closely to Rachel House Children's Hospice. The children and families are the strongest people I have ever met and they are truly an inspiration to me. I will never stop supporting and working with Rachel House!

To the Galaxy Team.....You have became my best friends, and "second" family. You have supported me every step of the way and I thank you for giving me this opportunity. I know you will stay my best friends after I hand over my title. I hope I have made you proud. I really couldn't have done this without you. I may get tired, overly busy, and down at times but every minute I walk into my bedroom and see my two crowns and sashes sitting on my dressing table my huge smile comes onto my face and I realise YOU have changed my life FOREVER. I love everyone of you.

Hayley...Again...My best friend, my big sister and my fellow UK and International sister queen! WOW! Look at us! We were just two girls from Essex and St Andrews and now.....Miss and Miss Teen Galaxy-UK and Miss and Miss Teen Galaxy International!!!!!! I remember standing at the side of the stage waiting to hear who I would be flying to Florida with and when you were crowned I was the happiest Miss Teen Galaxy-UK in the world!!! We had so much fun in Florida...Do you remember our AMAZING pyjama party dance?? GOD SAVE OUR GRACIOUS QUEEN! (We should have won!!) Also our cards that we send to each other with all the sparkles in them and our letters to each other...( I still haven't managed to hoover up those sparkles!!). Hayley, I wouldn't have chose anyone else to spend this experience with. I was so proud of us when we won the International titles. I love you with all my heart and you will always be my best friend and my Miss Galaxy International and Miss Galaxy-UK!!!

2010 Contestants... Make the most of your experience in March. I have looked at every single one of you on the website and I can tell it's going to be a hard decision for us judges! Galaxy pageants is not all about outer beauty, its inner beauty that counts. You have one chance to shine in March so use your amazing personalities to do so! I will try my hardest to help you in March and give you all the advice I have learned. You may have big shoes to fill with Hayley and I winning both titles but I know you girls can do it! It makes it even better thinking Hayley and I will be coming over to Michigan with the two UK winners!!! I will always be here for all of you and try my hardest to help you all!

Well....that's it. I have 3 months left with my UK title and 6 months with my International title. It does bring a tear to my eye but I know my UK 2010 contestants are going to do me proud!

I love all of you lots! See you in March!

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and your families!!!

Galaxy kisses and hugs....
